The amplification of our team with the entry of three new engineers as well as future growth plans have driven us to create a new multidisciplinary workplace.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our new office is located in Oasis quarter, in the center of Sitges and is annexed to the current facilities of the Institute of Robotics for Dependency. The installation and adaptation process of this new multifunctional space have been carried out with a great success. A 100 sq m bright and vivid space converted into a flexible, multipurpose, and versatile workspace, designed for various purposes.<\/p>\n

As a result of the expansion, the IRD has two new large and luminous halls. One of them serves as an office while the other one is a space for meetings, tranings, and videoconferencies with the capacity for more than 30 persons.<\/p>\n

The idea was based on ‘open space’ design concept, facilitating both privacy and adaptation for future changes, at the same time creating a comfortable collaborative space. High technologies form the part of interior design concept. The space is provided with a special system to facilitate videoconference process as well as help to share an information during meetings and trainings. A multifunctional furniture allows interaction between users and different activities organized in the same place, leaving behind the outdated concept of an individual office space.<\/p>\n

The team is growing up<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the way the IRD is getting prepared to face its growth with future guarantees. The approvement by the Catalan Government regarding the project \u201cActive and healthy aging. From theory to practice<\/a>\u201c last April, presented at the 2nd call for Territorial Specialization and Competitiveness Projects (PECT), will led us to incorporate into our team two new members after the recent incorporation of one new engineer. The IRD has also other projects curently in progress, in collaboration with universities and technological centers abroad, with the aim of attracting international talent to Sitges to developi new R & D solutions for the dependency sector. Current and future growth plans have motivated this expansion of the workspace.<\/p>\n

La ampliaci\u00f3n del equipo, con la entrada tres nuevos ingenieros, m\u00e1s las previsiones de crecimiento futuro, han impulsado la creaci\u00f3n de un nuevo espacio de trabajo multidisciplinar.<\/strong><\/p>

Situado en el barrio del Oasis, en el centro de Sitges, en un local anexo a las actuales instalaciones del Instituto de Rob\u00f3tica, se ha llevado a cabo las obras de adaptaci\u00f3n de este nuevo espacio de oficina multifuncional. Se trata de un local de 100m2 que se ha convertido en un espacio de trabajo flexible, polivalente y vers\u00e1til, pensado para diversos usos.\u00a0<\/p>

Con esta ampliaci\u00f3n el Instituto de Rob\u00f3tica para la Dependencia cuenta a partir de hoy con dos nuevas grandes salas, una destinada a oficina y otra como sala para reuniones, formaci\u00f3n y videoconferencia, con capacidad para m\u00e1s de 30 personas.<\/p>

Para su dise\u00f1o se ha procurado mantener un concepto de \"open space\" o de espacio abierto, facilitando tanto privacidad como la adaptaci\u00f3n a posibles cambios, creando un espacio colaborativo confortable. La tecnolog\u00eda forma parte del dise\u00f1o del interior de las nuevas oficinas y se ha provisto de un sistema espec\u00edfico para facilitar las videoconferencias as\u00ed como poder compartir informaci\u00f3n en reuniones y formaciones. El mobiliario funcional permite la interacci\u00f3n entre los usuarios y el desarrollo de funciones diferentes dentro del mismo espacio, alej\u00e1ndonos del concepto individual de despacho.<\/p>

El equipo crece<\/strong><\/p>

El IRD se prepara as\u00ed para afrontar su crecimiento de futuro con garant\u00edas. La aprobaci\u00f3n definitiva el pasado abril por parte de la Generalitat de Catalunya del proyecto \"Envejecimiento activo y saludable. De la teor\u00eda a la pr\u00e1ctica<\/a>\", presentado en la 2\u00aa convocatoria de Proyectos de Especializaci\u00f3n y Competitividad Territorial (PECT) supondr\u00e1 la incorporaci\u00f3n de dos nuevos ingenieros a los que se suma la reciente incorporaci\u00f3n de otro ingeniero. A su vez, el Instituto tiene en marcha nuevos proyectos, en colaboraci\u00f3n con universidades y centros tecnol\u00f3gicos, un proyecto para atraer talento internacional a Sitges, con el objetivo de desarrollar de nuevas soluciones de I+D para el sector de la dependencia. Los planes de crecimiento actual y futuro han motivado esta ampliaci\u00f3n del espacio de trabajo.<\/p>
